Rezart Spahia

Rezart Spahia is the head instructor and founder of Tirana MMA Center. Having studied martial arts for more than three decades, Rezart is an accomplished martial artist and coach in both Karate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a member of Albania’s High Council of Sports. 

Julian Maloku

Julian Maloku is an instructor and co-founder of Tirana MMA Center. An early lover of martial arts, Juli has practiced taekwondo, muay tai, kickboxing as well as trained in Brazilian Ju Jitsu (BJJ) since 2009. In 2023 Julian was promoted to black belt by master Orlando Neto. Previously, Juli was promoted as a blue, purple and brown belt by Master Luiz Palhares. 

Erblin Kacnia

Erblini is a karate and kickboxing instructor at Tirana MMA Center. Among the first generations of Albanian karatekas, he started practicing martial arts since 1995 and today he is a 3rd degree black belt. 

Olti Zaimi

Olsi started his journey in martial arts at the age of 14, first with the sport of kickboxing and then with Brazilian Ju-Jitsu where he also holds a brown belt. Olsi first practiced kickboxing in Greece from 1993 to 1998. Then he returned to Albania and began to train and enrolled with the law enforcement institutions starting from the Guard of the Republic, state police as well as specialized intervention structures such as RENEA. 

Albiona Agolli

Albiona Agolli is a dedicated BJJ practitioner who started her journey in 2013 at the age of 25 with no prior sport experience. Albiona has since earned her purple belt in 2021, and previously achieved her blue belt in 2015, becoming the first Albanian woman to achieve such ranks in BJJ in Albania.  She is constantly pushing herself to improve her skills and competes regularly in both gi and no gi tournaments.  

Mirjon Shalari

Mirjoni is a martial arts practitioner with over 15 years of experience in various disciplines.

Mirjon’s journey has been full of challenges and growth. At the age of 13, he entered the world of martial arts, starting to practice Muay Thai. Later, at the age of 19, he explored the world of Kung Fu as well as Kyokushin Karate for several years. 

Samuel Maloku

Samuel has started his journey at Tirana MMA Center since 2013, in the first BJJ class for children open in Albania, the same class where he is now one of the instructors who teaches the new generations! In addition to his dedication to Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Samuel also practices kickboxing and judo in order to continuously improve his physical and technical skills. 

Elert Shaba

Elert Shaba has been part of Tirana MMA Center since 2014. He is a true multidisciplinary athlete who has practiced and competed in many martial arts, starting from kickboxing, Brazilian jujitsu, judo, wrestling, and MMA, but also being engaged in marathons, gymnastics and calisthenics. Elert shares his multifaceted expertise as an early and active athlete at the service of other students and athletes of Tirana MMA Center. 

In 2015, after moving to the United States of America, Olsi started Brazilian Ju-Jitsu under the tutelage of Demian Maia, 5-time BJJ World Champion and MMA standout. Although he did not start this sport at a young age, Olsi quickly found success. He has competed in several international competitions in the USA such as the IBJJF Chicago Open, IBJJ Florida Open, Grappling Industries, etc. reaching the podium several times as a blue belt and purple belt, and taking first and second places. After a period of rest due to injury and upon his return to Albania, Olsi resumed competitions and training at Tirana MMA Center. Recently he took second place as a brown belt in the international competition AJP Albania.

Olsi continues training at Tirana MMA Center and assists with Brazilian Ju Jitsu classes. In addition, he continues his engagement with the special forces of law enforcement.
